Hello, neighbors.
If you live near Bryant Park, this is for you. We started something small and we hope you’ll be part of it.
Who we are
The Bryant Park Neighborhood Association — BPNA, for short — is a group of neighbors who decided to put a name on what we already do for each other. We share tools. We watch out for one another’s cats. We say hi at the park. We thought it might be nice to do a little more of that, on purpose.
So we organized. Six of us volunteered to be a founding board. We wrote up some simple rules for how we’ll work together. We picked a name. And now we’re here, saying hello to the rest of you.
What we want to do
Our mission is short and we mean it: bring neighbors together, support each other, and make this place a little better. That looks like:
- Regular events. Craft mornings at the park. Block coffee. Seasonal get-togethers. Bring a friend.
- A way to stay in touch. A monthly newsletter and a Signal group, for when you want to know what’s going on or just borrow a ladder.
- Small projects. Things that don’t take much money but do take a few hands. Cleanups. Welcome bags. Helping out when someone needs it.
We’re not trying to be everything. We’re trying to be one good thing.
Bilingual on purpose
Bryant Park is a neighborhood where English and Spanish both belong. We’ll do our best to make our events, signs, and outreach work in both languages. Hablamos español.
How to be part of it
Three easy ways, and you can pick any of them:
- Join the newsletter for once-a-month updates.
- Join the Signal group for everyday neighborhood chat.
- Come to an event. No invitation needed. Just show up.
All three live on our Get Involved page.
A note on the legal stuff
We’re a Minnesota nonprofit corporation and a recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. For now we’re keeping things simple: no fundraising, no dues, just neighbors.
See you at the park
Thanks for reading. We’re glad you’re here, and we look forward to meeting you.
